VOLCANO HOUSE
One of New Zealand’s finest homes, famously known as the ‘Volcano House’ is an award-winning house in Devonport by architect Tom Rowe from Rowe Baetens Architecture. This home was meticulously planned and integrated into New Zealand’s natural resources, with the ceiling and flooring being clad in totara and rimu timbers derived from 800-year-old logs recovered by divers from Northland’s rivers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
White Associates provided quantity surveying services for this high-end residential development located in proximity to one of Auckland’s volcanic cones and clad in volcanic basalt and ancient river logs sourced specifically for the project.
